InSights + Goals



Overview

InSights + Goals will be available in all InTouch FollowUp sites beginning Friday, April 21, 2017.

Set actionable, targeted company, club and individual goals aligned with your sales team's KPIs using InSights + Goals. Staff members, including sales staff and trainers, can monitor their performance against personal and club level goals with individual dashboards. Once your goals are set, you can track your club(s) progress in InSights by navigating to the Goals dashboards.

About Goals

InSights + Goals is a powerful reporting tool that combines dashboard views with company, club and individual goals. Using this reporting tool, management and sales staff can monitor their performance and align sales activities to achieve club and personal goals (KPIs) using individual dashboards. InSights + Goals is the perfect tool for driving smart, data driven decisions.

How to Get Started

First, Set Your Goals

  1. Log into InTouch and go to the Admin tab
  2. Select Goals
    1. Only those with permission to set Goals will have Goals listed on the blue bar. Click here for detail on this new permission setting.
  3. Select Launch Goals Admin



  4. Select the Club, Product (Membership), Month and Year for which you wish to set your goals.
  5. Enter your Sales Goal
  6. In the table under the graph, place your cursor in the appropriate table cells to set each KPI.
  7. You can also select Staff in the top right to set individual goals for each user

Who Can Set Goals

There is a new permission setting labeled Goals that allows you select which roles can set or edit Goals.

Initial settings are set as follows:

  • Roles that have access to edit permissions will have access to Edit All Goals**
  • Roles that have access to the Admin tab, but do not have access to edit permissions, will have access to Edit Future Goals
  • All other roles will not have access to set or edit Goals.

How to Change Who Can Set Goals

  1. Log into InTouch and go to the Admin tab
  2. Go to Permissions (only roles with access to edit permissions will have this option)
  3. Find the appropriate role and select Edit
  4. Find Goals
  5. Select the desired option (see Settings Options for details)
  6. Select Save

Settings Options:

  1. None: Staff with this role will see Goals set for them (if combined with access to InSights), but will not be able to set or edit any Goals themselves
  2. Edit Future Goals: Staff with this role will be able to set Goals for current and future months, but will not be able to make changes once the month ends.
  3. Edit All Goals: This is the highest permission level. Staff with this role will be able to set and edit all Goals (past, present and future).**

** Note: Editing Goals for past months will be available in an upcoming release. This first version of Goals will allow for setting and editing current and future Goals only.

Now, View Your Goals and Progress in InSights!

Once your goals are set, please allow 3-5 minutes for your progress dashboards to update.

  1. If you have access to the InSights Individual View, you'll have a grey tab in InTouch labeled as either Reports or InSights. From this tab, select InSights or Launch InSights.
  2. Select GOALS on your main dashboard

Club Views

Performance This Month

  • You can select multiple locations under Clubs for a cumulative view of progress and goals.
  • For trends on Closing Percentages or Conversion Rates, select a button in the bottom right. Past Performance is coming soon.
  • The image below shows the current KPI number compared to each KPI Goal. For example, our Sales Goal is 40 and we are currently at 32 sales this month.

Closing Percentages

  • The example below shows that my current Lead Conversion rate this month is 13%, which is down from last month.

Conversion Rates

  • The first example below (Calls to Leads) shows that so far this month my club has made 3.3 phone calls for every lead added. This rate is down from last month. The graph to the right shows how my club has done over time.
  • The Appts Scheduled to Calls Completed rate of 19% means of all our Completed Calls this month, 19% of those calls have resulted in a booked appointment. This rate is up from last month.
  • The Show Rate of 19% means that so far this month 19% of our scheduled appointments have been completed.

Individual Views

  • In the example below, this individual staff person has a personal sales goal of 10 and has already exceeded that goal with a current sales number of 13.
