Client Guide for Jonas Compete

Objective/Purpose

The purpose of this document is to outline the requirements to integrate Jonas Compete with the InTouch Connector. The intended audience is the administrator or manager of the club that wants integration between InTouch and Compete, via the Connector.

About The Connector

The Connector is simply the piece of software that handles all the communication between the two systems. The primary use case is that when a prospect (aka lead) is added to InTouch, that prospect will automatically be sent to Compete, preventing the need for duplicate entry.  Updates to the lead will also flow from InTouch to Compete via the Connector.  Please see the 'Connector Overview' document for more information

Understanding Data Integration

The InTouch/Compete integration allows for entry of new prospects only in InTouch. Update of prospects is also supported. Members are currently not supported. Also note the integration is one-way only. Data entered in Compete does not flow to InTouch.

Limitations

  1. The integration currently does not support any synchronization of staff
  2. The integration currently does not support any synchronization of lead sources

Requirements

The following attributes are required to turn on the integration

  • Integration Waiver
  • Jonas Compete Customer ID number (may also be called a Company ID).
  • Jonas Compete Club ID number which is unique per each 'club' (location).  Each InTouch club is mapped to a Compete club. If you have multiple clubs, you will have multiple IDs.
  • Jonas Compete Domain (URL/IP)
  • Jonas Compete Port
  • Jonas Compete Scheme (http or https)

Customer Actions

  • Contact your Jonas Compete representative. They will have you sign the Integration Waiver and then they will contact InTouch with the required information. 
  • No further customer action is needed. Once InTouch has a waiver copy and the required info regarding your Jonas site, we will enable the integration.
